FretPilot Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of FretPilot (the "App"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility & Accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old to use FretPilot. Premium, paid, or subscription features require you to be at least 16 years old (or the age of contractual consent in your region).
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and any activity under it.
2. Purchases & Subscriptions
- Physical goods: Purchases are processed via Stripe. Shipping times and costs are disclosed at checkout. Title and risk of loss pass upon delivery to the carrier.
- Digital subscriptions: On Android, eligible digital subscriptions may be processed via Google Play Billing and governed by Google’s terms, including cancellation and refunds. Where allowed, Stripe may be used for web or cross‑platform access.
- Taxes: Prices may exclude taxes. Applicable taxes are added at checkout.
- Refunds: Physical goods may be refundable per posted return policy (see product page or order confirmation). Digital subscriptions are typically non‑refundable except as required by law or platform policy.
3. Content Standards
- No adult or sexually explicit content. Do not upload, request, or distribute prohibited content.
- No illegal, infringing, hateful, harassing, or malicious content.
- We may remove content that violates these standards and may suspend accounts that repeatedly violate them.
4. Intellectual Property
- The App, its features, code, and design are owned by FretPilot and its licensors.
- Trademarks and brand names referenced remain the property of their respective owners. Reference does not imply endorsement.
5. Acceptable Use
- Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access source beyond permitted licenses.
- Do not interfere with the App’s operation, security, or networks.
- Do not attempt to circumvent purchase mechanisms or price integrity.
6. Privacy
Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect and how we use it.
7. Disclaimers
FretPilot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. Music instruction results vary by user; always practice safely and at comfortable volumes.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FretPilot is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or where required by law.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
